INTRODUCING THE NEW 2012 "BABIES 4 MONTHS AND UNDER ARE FREE OFFER!" We know it's hard to predict if your new baby will stay awake long enough to make it through class, and we know parents are wondering if they will benefit from it at such a young age. We understand your concerns! We however, have seen firsthand the amazing effects that music and bonding in Kindermusik has had with families of n...ewborns, and we invite you to come experience it at NO TUITION CHARGE! In 2012 our new policy is that if a baby is 4 months old or younger, tuition is FREE. Once they reach their 16 weeks, future tuition will be charged and they'll become a paid member. Level 1 - Baby Sign & Sensory Adventure (newborns to 18 months) Harriet is an award winning baby signing teacher and has taught baby signing classes for over 5 years. The Baby Signing & Sensory Adventure Program are age appropriate, packed with musical exploration, singing, sensory, dance, movement and fun activities. It’s a multi-aspected learning process for the child, incorporating physical, emotional, cognitive, language, social and musical growth. It’s more than just learning music and baby signing. It’s about the whole child. With signs and gestures sourced from British Sign Language (BSL) the babies soon recognise, then use key words and activities impacting their new lives. Lenght of class 45 mins Level 2 - ABC MUSIC & ME - FAMILY TIME Each week you’ll see how music helps your family laugh together, share and take turns in this multi-age (newborn up to seven years old), multi-child class. A class where all your children, regardless of age, are welcome to participate together, a class that promotes the social skills necessary for a family to strengthen its emotional bond. Lenght of class 45 mins Level 3 - ABC Music & Me - Wiggle and Grow (18 months -3 years) Can you sound like an elephant or hop like a bunny? Encouraging your child to discover an enchanting musical world builds confidence, self-control & communication. Singing, rhyming & object identification foster language skills, supported by signing. Creative movement to various musical “moods” develops balance, timing & spatial awareness. Listening & turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills. Wiggle and Grow is an award-winning music & movement enrichment program for children ages 18 months to 3 years. Weekly lessons based around exciting themes will engage your child in dancing, singing, instrument play and literature. Home materials mean that parents can now participate with their child within the home environment Length of class 45 mins Level 4 - ABC Music & Me - Laugh and Learn (3-5 years) ABC Music and Me : Laugh and Learn for children 3 and a half to 5 and a half. Your pre-school learner will delight in a drop-off music class that will help them learn to keep the beat, match pitch and thrive in a cooperative environment. ABC Music & Me is a research-based language and early literacy program built around music. It helps develop pre-literacy and language skills through a child’s most-loved rituals: music and storytime. Three diverse units, twelve weeks of fun! Weekly lessons based around exciting themes will engage your child in dancing, singing, instrument play and literature. Home materials mean that parents can now participate with their child within the home environment Length of class 45 mins Level 5 - ABC Music & Me - Move and Groove (4-7years) NEW! Kindermusik® ABC Music and Me : Move and Groove : for children 4 to 7. Students will develop language, early literacy, math and pattern recognition, physical coordination and social/emotional skills and, of course, musical skills, as they are having fun learning! Three great units: In Jumpin Beans children will get in the groove of rhythms from Latin America, in Join The Parade everyone joins the band, exploring marching music and instruments and in All Keyed Up children begin to explore keyboard sounds and will develop fine motor skills through special key-board playing activities in class. Weekly lessons based around exciting themes will engage your child in dancing, singing, instrument play and literature.
